Lean Manufacturing Certification
-I received my Lean Manufacturing certification in 2019 from IMC. The 6 month course concluded with a final project showcasing how we implemented lean principals in our workplace. My specific project for this in my workplace was reducing changeover complexity by process mapping and using lean principals to map and diagnose areas for the biggest improvement and by reconfiguring AGV software and the physical steps of the production employees, we were able to reduce changeover time which resulted with an average of $250,000 monthly increase in production value.
PERSONAL INTERESTS
Family and Friends
I greatly value quality time spent with loved ones. I most enjoy our game nights and occasional weekend trips. And as of most recently, my wife and I have enjoyed spending our time playing with our Bernese Mountain dog, Marlo!
Exercise
During the summers I love playing tennis and ultimate frisbee. Throughout the year though, I am consistently weightlifting and taking walks with my wife and dog. Recently, I have also been enjoying long bike rides in the countryside where I live.
Snowboarding
Snowboarding is my favorite winter activity. I have been snowboarding since early high-school and have been going every winter since. As of late my friends and I have been going on some bigger trips on the east coast to New York, Vermont and Maine. Currently we are planning a big trip out west to Utah for the winter of 2025!
